Network Environment

        IHEP network includes the campus and the data center network, DYB network, CSNS network, YBJ network and the networks connection with WAN.

        Campus and data center network in IHEP

In the environment of IHEP campus and data center network, there are more than 200 network devices, over 1200 servers and more than 4000 PCs. The bandwidth of the backbone network is 2*10Gbps which supports both IPv4 and IPv6. Meanwhile, wireless network has already been covered all across the campus.

        DYB network

        DYB network is used to satisfy the demand of DYB neutrino experiment data acquisition, processing, storage, transmission and the onsite staff daily office environment. Currently, there are 2 firewalls, 8 switches, 5 network servers, 2 blades of computing servers and 10 APs in the environment.

¡¡¡¡YBJ network

        YBJ cosmic ray observatory network environment is used to provide the onsite office cable network connections, wireless network and data transmission network between onsite and IHEP. Currently, there are 3 3-level switches, 4 access switches, 3 servers, 5 APs and 1 blade of computing servers.

¡¡¡¡CSNS network 

        The network environment of CSNS is now under building, once finished, it will provide both the office network environment and the network connections between CSNS and IHEP which will meet the requirement of data transmission. According to the service requirements, currently, there are 2 egress routers, 3 3-level switches and 6 access switches, and in the very near future, there will be more network devices.
